Studi Kriminologis tentang Pengaruh Trauma Masa Kecil terhadap Pembentukan Kepribadian Psikopat

Trauma masa kanak-kanak terbukti memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap pembentukan perilaku antisosial dan kepribadian psikopat di masa dewasa. Kajian ini menelaah keterkaitan antara pengalaman traumatis awal seperti kekerasan, pengabaian, dan pelecehan dengan kecenderungan melakukan tindakan kriminal melalui lensa teori kriminologi modern, termasuk General Strain Theory (Agnew), teori temperamen (DeLisi & Vaughn), serta hasil penelitian tentang psikopati dan regulasi diri. Trauma berperan sebagai faktor “strain” yang memicu disfungsi emosional, gangguan empati, dan lemahnya kontrol impuls, yang bila tidak dimoderasi oleh ketahanan psikologis atau dukungan lingkungan, dapat berkembang menjadi pola perilaku kriminal dan sifat psikopat. Dengan demikian, pendekatan kriminologis kontemporer menekankan pentingnya intervensi dini yang berfokus pada pemulihan trauma dan penguatan kemampuan regulasi diri guna mencegah siklus kekerasan dan kejahatan yang berulang.
