PENGARUH PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS MASALAH TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS XII DI SMK 7 MEDAN

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pembelajaran berbasis masalah (Problem-Based Learning/PBL) terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa. Penelitian dilakukan di SMK 7 Medan dengan melibatkan 30 siswa kelas XII sebagai sampel. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain quasi-eksperimen satu kelompok pretest-posttest. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika dan dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan uji t berpasangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan PBL secara signifikan meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa, terutama pada aspek penalaran, pemodelan, dan logika matematika. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa integrasi PBL dalam pembelajaran matematika dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan keterampilan pemecahan masalah siswa.
